Custom DTG Clothing Manufacturer for Artwork That Survives the Reorder
Jafsu Enterprises is a custom DTG clothing manufacturer, not a print shop buying blanks. We cut and sew the hoodie, tee or set to your own pattern and cotton weight first, then print your artwork straight into the fabric. Samples from one piece, production from 20, and every stage — pattern, stitch, pretreat, print, cure, label — happens in our own building.

What Does a Custom DTG Clothing Manufacturer Actually Do?
A custom DTG clothing manufacturer builds the garment and prints it under one roof. Cotton is knitted to your weight, cut to your pattern and stitched, and only then does a direct to garment printer lay water-based pigment ink into the fibres — photographs, gradients and fifty colours in one pass, with no screens, films or per-colour setup charge.
That order of operations is the point. A decorator prints on a finished blank, so the fit, weight and neck label are whatever the blank supplier chose. As a direct to garment printing manufacturer running OEM and ODM work, we start at the fabric roll: the body, the sleeve, the rib and the artwork are all yours, and all repeatable. See how the same line handles cut and sew production.

The harder question is not who prints your first 20 pieces, but who prints the next 500 at the same density, in the same shade of red. Prints drift between drops because the spec lived in a chat thread — no ink volume, no pretreat setting, no cure temperature written down. The numbers below are what that sheet should hold.
Custom DTG Printed Apparel, Made to Your Block
DTG printing for cotton apparel works best on the garments below, each cut to your measurements and weight before any ink is laid down.

DTG printed t-shirts
Combed ring-spun cotton in boxy, drop-shoulder or classic bodies. Wholesale DTG printed t-shirts land best on smooth, tightly knitted cotton: a flatter surface gives sharper edges and deeper blacks.

DTG printed hoodies
Pullover, full-zip and half-zip bodies in brushed three-end fleece with double-lined hoods and matched ribbing. As a custom DTG printed hoodies supplier we print the panel flat where artwork crosses a pocket seam.

Crewneck sweatshirts
The same fleece family in set-in or drop-shoulder builds. Unbrushed French terry keeps its loops closed and gives the crispest detail of any sweatshirt knit.

Long sleeves and tanks
Long-sleeve tees, tanks and vests with chest, back, sleeve and hem placements. A sleeve print is the cheapest second placement to add, because DTG is priced by ink area.

Joggers and matching sets
Cotton-rich joggers, shorts and two-piece sets with thigh, hip or back placements. A set half a shade apart comes back as faulty, so tops and bottoms are cut from one dye lot.

Youth and adult size runs
One artwork file, scaled across YS–YXL youth and S–4XL adult. Print size is re-proportioned per band, so a youth small never wears a print built for a 3XL.
Six Lines That Decide Whether Your DTG Reorder Matches
Send these to every custom DTG printing service you shortlist. The ones worth working with answer in numbers.
- Artwork built at print size. 300 dpi at the final dimension, PNG with a transparent background, in sRGB. A 72 dpi web file blown up to 12 inches prints as soft as it looks.
- Fabric composition, in figures. Pigment ink bonds to cellulose, so 100% cotton takes the deepest colour and blends print lighter as polyester rises.
- Pretreatment and cure, recorded. Spray volume, cure temperature and belt time decide wash life. If they are not on the job card, drop two is a guess. See how DTG compares on wash life in which t-shirt printing lasts the longest.
- White base or none. Dark cotton needs a white underbase under every colour; white cotton skips it. That one choice moves hand-feel and unit price.
- Placement measured from the HPS. Print width and drop from the high point of shoulder, per size band — not “centre chest”, which every operator reads differently.
- Trims named. Neck print or stitched woven label, care label, swing tag and polybag, listed piece by piece for true private label DTG printing services.
A custom DTG clothing manufacturer quoting against this sheet instead of a photograph can cost it in 24–48 hours, and the sample you approve sets the standard for bulk.

The sheet travels with the order
Cutting, stitching, pretreatment, printing, curing, labelling and packing happen in one building — the advantage of a DTG apparel printing factory that brokers nothing out. The settings on your approved sample are the settings loaded for bulk.
Print Areas, Fabrics, Quantities and Lead Times
Published in both unit systems, because a factory quoting in GSM and a buyer costing in ounces describe the same job.

Artwork checker: how big can your file actually print?
Drag to a print width and see the pixels your file needs at 300 dpi, the floor for high resolution digital garment printing. Below that, the file is upscaled — and upscaling shows on cotton.
How a Drop Runs Through the Factory
Every order takes the same five stages, at 20 pieces or 2,000.
-
Enquiry and costing
Send artwork, a tech pack or a reference garment with measurements. Back comes a mockup and costing split by fabric, print area and trims.
-
Pattern and print spec lock
Measurements, GSM, tolerances, underbase, placements and trims confirmed in writing. Revisions cost nothing here; the same change after cutting costs a run.
-
One-piece sample
One sewn and printed garment in your fabric. Wash it, wear it, measure it, check the colour in daylight. Nothing goes to bulk until you sign it off.
-
Production
Cutting and stitching, then pretreat, print and cure at the approved settings — with screen printing or embroidery available where a design suits it better.
-
QC and dispatch
Print density and placement checked piece by piece, QC photos and video sent before the balance falls due, then express dispatch.
Four Kinds of Buyer, One Production Line
The brief changes with each; the line and the written spec do not.
Sellers outgrowing print on demand
The graphics sell and the blank is the ceiling. A low MOQ DTG printing manufacturer gives the same full-colour freedom on your own body and neck label.
E-commerce and DTC labels
Drop cycles, not seasons. Twenty pieces per design lets you shoot, list and sell, then reorder the winners at 300.
Wholesale and bulk buyers
Distributors and stockists ordering repeat volume against one locked spec, with breaks at 100, 300, 500 and 1,000+.
Agencies, gyms and clubs
Many designs, few units each — where DTG beats screen. Ranges run alongside our fitnesswear production.
Custom DTG Clothing Manufacturer FAQ
What is the minimum order for custom DTG printed clothing?
Samples start at one piece and bulk at 20 pieces per design and colourway, split across YS–YXL and S–4XL. Most factories ask for 200 to 1,000, so a low MOQ DTG printing manufacturer lets a new label release a drop without funding unsold stock.
DTG vs screen printing for streetwear — which should I choose?
Choose by colour count and quantity. DTG prints unlimited colours, photographs and gradients in one pass with no screen setup, so it is cheaper on short runs and multi-design merch. Screen printing wins on long runs of one or two colour artwork, and on heavy plastisol and puff effects.
How long does a DTG print last?
Correctly pretreated and cured pigment ink bonds into the cotton rather than sitting on top, so it softens evenly through washing instead of cracking or peeling. Cold wash, inside out, no bleach, low-heat drying goes on the care label.
What file do you need for high resolution digital garment printing?
A PNG with a transparent background at 300 dpi at final print size, in sRGB. PSD, AI, PDF and SVG work too, and vector is ideal because it rescales across the size run without loss. Send the file and we confirm the largest clean print size.
Can you print DTG on dark and black garments?
Yes. Dark cotton is pretreated and printed with a white underbase beneath the colour layer, which keeps reds and yellows opaque instead of muddy. It uses more ink, so dark garments are quoted slightly higher — itemised on the costing, not hidden in the unit price.
Does DTG work on cotton blends and polyester?
DTG printing for cotton apparel gives the best result on 100% combed cotton, and high-cotton CVC around 80/20 prints very well. As polyester rises the colour reads lighter, so above roughly 50% we adjust the fabric or recommend another decoration method.
Do you offer OEM, ODM and private label services?
Both. Under OEM we build to your patterns, tech pack and artwork. Under ODM you pick a proven body from our range and we adapt fit, fabric and detail to your brand. Private label DTG printing services cover neck prints or woven labels, care labels, swing tags and polybags — nothing carries our name.
Do you supply wholesale volumes and repeat orders?
Yes. Wholesale DTG printed t-shirts and hoodies run against the same written spec every time, with price breaks at 100, 300, 500 and 1,000+ and lead times of 14 to 18 working days for 50 to 300 pieces, or 20 to 25 for 500 to 1,000+. Payment is 50% deposit, balance before dispatch.
