- Knit construction, not just “polyester”. Interlock is smooth and opaque, micro mesh moves air, bird-eye sits between them. Construction decides drape and print sharpness as much as weight does.
- Sublimation method, stated plainly. Panel-printed cut and sew puts the design into the fabric before stitching. Transfer onto a finished blank leaves seam breaks and a print that can crack. Both get sold as “sublimation”.
- Colour reference and tolerance. Give a Pantone TCX or TPX number, not a screenshot. Screen colour drifts between devices; a code and an agreed tolerance survive a reorder.
- Measurement tolerance per point. Chest, body length and sleeve each need a stated allowance, or “close enough” is decided by whoever holds the tape.
- Decoration and trims, named. Number font and height, heat-seal or tackle twill, stitch count, and the exact woven label and swing tag in every piece.
