Getting started

How do I start an order with a clothing manufacturer?

Send us what you have and we reply within 24 hours with questions, then a mockup and costing within 24–48 hours. Our cut and sew process covers patterns, grading and sampling.

What do I need to send to get a quote?

Tell us the garment type, fabric preference, colours, the quantity per colour, the size split and your target date. Add your artwork, a sketch or reference photos. With that, we send a mockup and a costing within 24–48 hours.

Do I need a tech pack?

No. A tech pack helps, but many new brands start without one. A sketch, reference photos or a garment you like is enough for us to prepare the mockup, and the approved sample then becomes the working specification.

Do you work with startups and small brands?

Yes. Our production minimum is 20 pieces per design and colour, so a new brand can launch or test a design without large stock. Many first orders are one sample, then a run of 20–40 pieces.

Are you a manufacturer or a trading company?

We are a manufacturer. Jafsu Enterprises runs its own cut-and-sew factory in Sialkot, Pakistan, and has done so for 10+ years. We work as OEM, making your design, and as ODM, developing a design from your brief.

Minimum order

What is the minimum order quantity for custom clothing?

Production starts at 20 pieces per design and colour. Unit prices drop at 100, 300, 500 and 1,000+ pieces.

What is your minimum order quantity (MOQ)?

Our MOQ is 20 pieces per design and colour. A sample can be ordered as a single piece before you commit to production.

Does the MOQ apply to each colour?

Yes. Each colour is cut from its own fabric lot, so one hoodie design in black and grey needs 20 black and 20 grey, a total of 40 pieces.

Do you offer lower prices for larger orders?

Yes. Bulk pricing starts at 100 pieces, with further price breaks at 300, 500 and 1,000+ pieces. Your costing shows the unit price at each tier so you can compare.

Samples

How do samples work before bulk production?

A sample takes 7–10 working days to make and is paid 100% in advance. Bulk only starts after you approve it.

Can I order a sample before placing a bulk order?

Yes. You can order a single sample of any design. We recommend it for every new style, because it lets you check fit, fabric weight, colour and decoration before you pay for production.

How long does a sample take?

The mockup takes 24–48 hours. Once you approve it, the sample is made in 7–10 working days and then couriered to you, which usually takes 4–6 business days.

Do I have to pay for samples?

Yes. Samples are paid 100% in advance, by PayPal, Remitly, Western Union or bank wire.

Will my bulk order match the approved sample?

The approved sample is the reference for production and quality checks. Before dispatch you receive QC photos and video of your finished goods, so you can compare them with the sample before paying the balance.

Price and payment

How much does custom clothing cost, and how do I pay?

Every order is quoted individually. Samples are paid in full upfront; bulk orders are paid 50% upfront and 50% before dispatch.

How much does custom clothing cost per piece?

The price depends on the fabric and its weight, the number of print or embroidery positions, labels and packaging, and the quantity. We do not use a fixed price list, but a written costing for your design takes 24–48 hours.

What are your payment terms for bulk orders?

Bulk orders need a 50% deposit before production starts. The remaining 50% is due before dispatch.

When do I pay the balance?

Only after production is finished and you have seen QC photos and video of your goods. Once the balance is paid, the order is dispatched.

Are there any hidden costs?

Your costing shows the garment price at your quantity. Shipping depends on weight, destination and method, and import duty or VAT is set by your country’s customs rules, so confirm both before you pay the deposit.

Production and quality

How long does bulk production take?

Bulk takes 14–18 working days for 50–300 pieces and 20–25 working days for 500–1,000+ pieces, after sample approval.

What is your bulk production lead time?

Orders of 50–300 pieces take 14–18 working days. Orders of 500–1,000+ pieces take 20–25 working days. Working days exclude weekends and public holidays in Pakistan.

When does the production time start?

The lead time starts once your sample is approved and the 50% deposit is received. A quick sample approval is the easiest way to bring your delivery date forward.

How do you check quality?

Finished goods are checked against your approved sample. You receive QC photos and video before dispatch, and the balance is only due once you have seen them.

How do you handle shrinkage?

Shrinkage is usually measured with AATCC Test Method 135, which does not set a maximum. The acceptable percentage for your garment should be agreed in writing before bulk production begins.

Will you keep my designs private?

Yes. Your designs, patterns and artwork belong to you. They are never reused for another client or resold.

Fabric, sizes and branding

Which fabrics, sizes and branding options do you offer?

We work with fabrics from 140 to 450+ GSM, sizes from YS to 4XL, and do all printing and embroidery in-house.

Which fabrics and weights can you use?

T-shirts and streetwear use combed cotton, CVC or cotton-elastane at 180–280 GSM. Hoodies and joggers use French terry or fleece at 320–450+ GSM. Sportswear uses interlock or mesh at 140–220 GSM, and gym wear uses four-way stretch at 220–300 GSM.

Which sizes can you make?

Youth sizes YS to YXL and adult sizes S to 4XL. Send your size split for each colour and we cut to your ratio.

Which printing and embroidery methods do you offer?

Screen printing in plastisol, water-based, discharge and high-density inks, plus sublimation, DTF, silicone transfer, 3D puff, rhinestone, acid wash, embroidery, chenille and woven badges. All 10 methods are done in our own factory.

Can you add my own labels and packaging?

Yes. We offer woven neck labels, satin wash-care tags, PVC tags, embossed swing tags and branded polybags, so your garments arrive ready to sell under your brand.

Shipping

How does shipping to the UK, USA and Europe work?

Most orders travel door-to-door by courier in 4–6 business days. Import rules follow your country; the ICC Incoterms® 2020 rules define who pays which costs.

Which countries do you ship to?

We ship regularly to the UK, USA, Canada, Europe and Australia.

How long does delivery take?

Door-to-door courier by DHL, FedEx or UPS usually takes 4–6 business days after dispatch.

Can large orders go by sea or air freight?

Yes. Larger volumes can go by air cargo, or by sea freight in full or shared containers through Karachi or Sialkot Dry Port.

Who pays customs duty and VAT?

Import duty and VAT are set by your country’s customs rules. Ask us to confirm on your quote how delivery is priced, and check the duty rate with your courier or customs broker before your first shipment.

Right fit

Is Jafsu the right manufacturer for every order?

No. We are set up for brands ordering 20 to 1,000+ pieces per design, and three kinds of order are better served elsewhere.

  • Fewer than 20 pieces per colour. For one-off items printed after each sale, a print-on-demand service is a better fit.
  • 10,000+ pieces per style. Large retail programmes on a fixed calendar suit a big vertical mill with its own knitting and dyeing.
  • Delivery needed within days. Production plus 4–6 days of courier means about 3 weeks minimum; a local printer using blank garments is faster.

Pakistan exported $4.966bn of knitwear in FY2025-26 (Pakistan Bureau of Statistics data), so export routes from Sialkot are well established. Shrinkage tolerance is worth agreeing in writing; the usual test method is AATCC TM135.
