Basketball uniform manufacturer in Sialkot
We cut, print, stitch and pack basketball kit for brands, team dealers and clubs. Sublimated jerseys, shorts, reversibles and warm-ups under your own label — all of it made in one building, so the colour on your sample is the colour on the 500th piece.
The short answer
What a basketball uniform manufacturer actually does
A basketball uniform manufacturer builds the kit from raw knit fabric rather than buying blanks and printing on them. That covers pattern making, fabric sourcing, sublimation or panel cutting, stitching, trims and roster-sorted packing. A decorator can only decorate what already exists; a manufacturer sets the fabric weight, the neckline and the panel map before anything is cut.
The difference shows up on the second order. Blanks change spec between seasons and get discontinued; a factory holds your graded pattern and your approved strike-off, so batch two matches batch one. That is the whole reason a brand or a team dealer moves off blanks.
Jafsu works B2B only — brands, distributors, team dealers, clubs and schools ordering in bulk. We do not sell single uniforms to individual players, and we do not reproduce licensed pro-team designs. Basketball sits alongside our wider sportswear programme, so a club can run one colourway across several sports.
The range
Every piece of the kit, off one production run
Jersey, shorts and warm-ups cut from the same dye lot in the same building. Splitting a set across two suppliers is the most common way a team ends up with two different shades of the same colour.

| Reversible jersey | Double-face knit or bonded two-ply | 180–220 gsm | Both faces printed and numbered |
| Shooter shirt | Micro-mesh or pique polyester | 135–150 gsm | Raglan or set-in sleeve, drop-tail option |
| Warm-up jacket | Poly tricot, brushed poly or bonded shell | 210–280 gsm | Full or quarter zip, side pockets, lined option |
| Stretch panels | Polyester–spandex | 88/12 or 92/8 | Side seam, shoulder and gusset placement |
Ranges, not fixed specs. Weight is chosen against the league climate and how hard the kit gets washed — an indoor school programme and an outdoor summer league do not want the same jersey. Fabric can be swapped on a made-to-order run; ask before you lock a tech pack. Related: sublimation printing and custom embroidery.

Pick the jersey weight before you pick the design
Weight is the decision that costs the most to get wrong
The default for school, club and AAU programmes, and what most teams should order. Dense enough to stay opaque under gym lighting, light enough that nobody notices it, and stable enough to hold tackle twill without the numbers warping after a wash.
- Range 140–190 gsm on game jerseys, 160–190 gsm on shorts
- Opacity Under 140 gsm a light jersey needs a matched undershirt spec
- Print All three weights take full-cut sublimation; heavier knit holds twill better
- Fastness Grade 4+ target on wash test, independent of weight
- Sampling We can run two weights in the same sample so you can feel the difference
Order parameters
The numbers you need to compare suppliers
| Minimum order | 25 sets | Per design. Colourways and sizes inside one design can be split across the run. |
|---|---|---|
| Size range | Youth XS–XL · Adult XS–5XL | Separate women’s block on request, graded rather than scaled down. |
| Sampling | 7–10 working days | From artwork sign-off. Cost is credited against the first bulk order. |
| Bulk production | 15–20 working days | From sample approval, not from enquiry. |
| Air freight | 4–7 days | Door to door, on top of production. |
| Sea freight | 25–40 days | Port to port. Plan a season ahead if you are using it. |
| Artwork accepted | AI · EPS · PDF · PSD 300dpi | Pantone TCX or TPX codes for solids. |
| Shipping terms | EXW · FOB Karachi · DDP | DDP quoted on request; duty and clearance are otherwise yours. |
Lead times are working days and assume artwork arrives print-ready. Incomplete artwork is the single biggest cause of slippage — a low-resolution logo or a missing Pantone reference adds days before anything reaches the print floor.
| Method | Best for | Adds weight | Limit |
|---|---|---|---|
| Full-cut sublimation | All-over graphics, gradients, unlimited colours | None | Needs high-polyester, light-ground fabric |
| Tackle twill | Traditional stitched numbers for schools and colleges | High | Cost per piece; needs a stable knit underneath |
| Screen print | High volume, few colours, simple shapes | Low | Not suited to photographic or gradient artwork |
| Embroidery | Crests and sponsor marks on warm-ups | High | Traps heat — we keep it off game-jersey chest panels |
| Heat-transfer vinyl | Late roster changes, names and numbers | Low | Press settings decide whether it survives a season |
| Silicone / TPU | Raised logos where breathability matters | Low | Fine detail is limited by the mould |
Most kits use two methods, not one: sublimation for the body graphic, twill or vinyl for names and numbers. We will say if a submitted design is a poor fit for the method you have asked for rather than run it and let you find out on delivery. Detail on sublimation.
Inside the factory
One roof, from greige fabric to sealed carton
Most suppliers ranking for this search are decorators or trading offices that place your order with somebody else’s factory. Here is what changes when the quote and the sewing line belong to the same company.
Fabric bought at the mill
We specify GSM, stretch and hand-feel for your programme instead of picking from a blanks catalogue, which is what makes the weight decision above a real choice rather than a preference.
- Interlock
- Micro-mesh
- Pique
- Poly-spandex
Colour held across reorders
Pantone TCX or TPX matched to a printed strike-off, approved before bulk. The reference is filed against your account, so a mid-season top-up matches the original batch.
- Strike-off approval
- Lot control
- Grade 4+ fastness target
Patterns graded in-house
A fit change is a pattern revision we make ourselves, not a negotiation with a third party. Youth and women’s blocks are graded separately rather than scaled down from the men’s.
- Youth XS–XL
- Adult XS–5XL
- Women’s block
Inline QC, not just final
Checks at cutting, after printing, mid-line and at final audit: measurement spec, colour fastness, seam strength and print registration. Faults caught mid-line cost a panel, not a shipment.
Roster-ready packing
Size-broken or sorted by player name and number, individually polybagged, master cartons marked to your packing list. Nobody at your end sorts a pallet by hand.
Your label, not ours
Full private label and OEM: woven neck labels, printed care labels, hangtags and custom cartons. Your artwork and graded patterns stay yours, stated before the first invoice.

Spec and quote
Send garment list, quantities, sizes and target weight. You get a per-unit price on your Incoterm with fabric and decoration named, not a range.
1–2 working daysArtwork and strike-off
We build the print file from your artwork, run a Pantone strike-off and send it for approval before anything goes to the sewing line.
3–5 working daysPre-production sample
A real garment off the real line with your fabric, colours and labels. Photographed and couriered. Changes are made here, not after bulk.
7–10 working daysBulk, QC and dispatch
Cut, print, stitch, inline QC, final audit, roster-sorted packing. Carton list and photos sent before the shipment leaves.
15–20 working daysWhat moves the price
Six things that change a per-unit quote
We do not publish a price list, because a jersey quote without a spec attached is meaningless. These are the variables that actually move the number, roughly in order of impact.
| Driver | Direction | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Order quantity | Down with volume | Setup, print file and pattern cost spread across more pieces. Real breaks sit around 100, 250 and 500 sets. |
| Number of designs | Up per design | Each design carries its own print file, strike-off and MOQ. Two colourways of one layout do not. |
| Decoration mix | Up with twill | Sublimation is priced into the panel. Stitched twill, embroidery and silicone are added operations. |
| Fabric weight | Up with gsm | Heavier knit costs more per metre and yields fewer panels from the same roll. |
| Garment count | Down per piece | Adding shorts or warm-ups to an existing jersey run shares the setup rather than repeating it. |
| Freight mode | Air >> sea | Air can add more than the decoration does. It is the first place a rushed timeline gets expensive. |
Ask every supplier for the landed cost on your Incoterm, not the unit price — a cheap FOB number routinely loses to a higher one once freight and duty are modelled. We will quote DDP if you would rather compare a single figure.
Who we build for
Six buyers, six different builds
- Apparel brands and private label — own patterns, own labels, repeatable colourways rather than a rebranded stock catalogue.
- Team dealers and distributors — consistent quality across seasons, with patterns held on file for reorders.
- Clubs, AAU and academies — one design across age groups, youth and women’s blocks matched to the senior kit.
- Schools and universities — home, away and alternate sets with twill numbering and strict colour matching.
- Leagues and tournaments — high volume, low complexity, delivered against a fixed opening date.
- Not a fit — individual players, single-piece orders, and any replica or licensed pro-team design.
Before the first order
Basketball uniform manufacturing, answered
What does a basketball uniform manufacturer do that a printer does not?
A manufacturer builds the garment from raw knit fabric: pattern making, fabric sourcing, cutting, sublimation or panel construction, stitching, trims and packing. A printer or decorator buys finished blanks and applies artwork to them. That means a manufacturer can change fabric weight, neckline, panel layout and fit, and can produce colourways no blank supplier stocks, while a decorator is limited to whatever the blank catalogue already offers.
What is your minimum order quantity for custom basketball uniforms?
25 sets per design. Colourways and sizes inside that design can be split across the run, so a club ordering home and away in the same layout is still one design. Per-unit pricing improves at roughly 100, 250 and 500 sets.
How long does production take?
A pre-production sample takes 7 to 10 working days from artwork sign-off. Bulk production runs 15 to 20 working days after that sample is approved. Shipping sits on top and depends on the Incoterm: air freight is typically 4 to 7 days, sea freight 25 to 40 days.
What fabric and GSM do you use for basketball jerseys?
Game jerseys are 100% polyester interlock or micro-mesh at 140 to 160 gsm, which is light enough not to weigh a player down and dense enough to stay opaque. Shorts run heavier at 160 to 190 gsm because they take more abrasion. Stretch panels use polyester-spandex at 88/12 or 92/8.
Can you match our exact team colours?
Yes. Send Pantone TCX or TPX codes, hex values or a physical swatch. We produce a printed strike-off for approval before bulk and hold that reference against the account, so a reorder later in the season matches the first batch.
Do you make reversible basketball jerseys?
Yes, either as a bonded double-face knit or a two-ply construction, with both faces fully printed and numbered at a combined weight of 180 to 220 gsm. Reversibles are the most common request from AAU and practice programmes.
Can you produce under our own brand label?
Yes. Full private label and OEM covering woven neck labels, printed care labels, hangtags, polybags and carton markings. No Jafsu branding goes on customer product, and the artwork and graded patterns remain the customer’s.
Do you offer samples before a bulk order?
Yes. Sample cost and courier are charged up front and credited against the first bulk order. Photographs of the actual production sample are sent before it ships, so changes can be raised early rather than on delivery.
Which countries do you ship to?
Worldwide from Pakistan, on EXW, FOB Karachi, or door-to-door air and sea freight. Duty and import clearance sit with the buyer unless a DDP quote is requested.
Do you make licensed or replica NBA-style uniforms?
No. Production covers original designs and customer-owned artwork only. Licensed pro-team kits, logos and player names are not reproduced, and a submitted design that comes close to trademarked marks will be flagged before production.
