Cut and Sew Clothing Manufacturer With a 20-Piece MOQ
Jafsu Enterprises builds hoodies, tees, joggers, activewear and sublimated kits from your own patterns, fabric and spec sheet — not from someone else’s blank. Samples start at one piece, low MOQ production at 20, bulk price-breaks from 100. Cutting, custom fabric printing and sewing all happen in our own building in Sialkot, which is what keeps your second order matching your first.

What Does a Cut and Sew Clothing Manufacturer Actually Do?
A cut and sew clothing manufacturer starts at the fabric roll, not the finished blank. Your pattern is drafted, cloth is spread and cut panel by panel, then printed, stitched, embroidered, labelled and packed under your own brand — from a one-piece sample, through a 20-piece low MOQ run, up to bulk for brands in the UK, USA, Canada, Europe and Australia.
Wholesale suppliers sell finished garments by the carton; a print on demand clothing manufacturer decorates a stock body one at a time. Neither gives you a pattern, a fabric weight or a neck label of your own. Cut and sew is the only model where the silhouette is yours, which is why handmade custom clothing production and true private label work sit on this side of the line.

The harder question is not who makes your first 20 pieces, but who makes the next 500 identically. Brands usually leave after the reorder, when the fleece returns a shade lighter or the print sits low.
That is not bad luck; it is what happens when the spec lives in a chat thread instead of a signed sheet. Everything below is what that sheet should hold.
Six Builds That Cover Most Ranges
Each is cut to your measurements and fabric weight — never a stock body with a logo added at the end.

Hoodies and crewnecks
Pullover, full-zip and half-zip bodies in brushed three-end fleece or French terry, with double-lined hoods and matched ribbing. Drop-shoulder blocks are patterned separately, not graded up. See the hoodie options.

T-shirts and tanks
Combed cotton and CVC jersey in boxy, drop-shoulder or classic bodies. Weight decides most tees: thin jersey drapes, heavier jersey stands square. See our t-shirt production covers both ends.

Joggers, sweatpants and shorts
Tapered, straight and relaxed legs with drawcord waists, zip, ribbed or open hems and cargo pockets. Bottoms ordered with tops are cut from one dye lot — two lots read as a mismatch.

Activewear and gym sets
Four-way stretch leggings, shorts, sports bras and training tops with flatlock seams, gussets and bonded waistbands. Custom streetwear and activewear cut and sew share one line. See our fitnesswear production.

Sublimated kits and jerseys
Panels are printed before they are sewn, so an all-over graphic runs seam to seam with no cracking, peeling or added weight. Edge-to-edge sublimation printing needs polyester and one building for both jobs.

Swim and woven outerwear
Swim shorts, boardshorts and lined swim pieces, plus coach jackets and workwear shells. Wovens are built differently to knits, so patterns are drafted fresh, not borrowed from a fleece block.
Custom Fabric Printing and Sewing in the Same Building
Nothing is brokered out, so the placement measured at sampling is the placement at inspection.

Decoration, all in-house
Screen print, DTF, DTG, puff, high-density, discharge, flock and silicone, plus flat and 3D embroidery, appliqué and twill patches. Ink system, size and placement from the high point of shoulder go into the spec before cutting. See our screen printing options.
Edge-to-edge sublimation printing
Dye-sublimation bonds ink into polyester fibre instead of sitting on top of it, so the graphic survives washing and stretching, and panels printed flat before cutting line up across seams, sleeves and hoods.
Private label cut and sew services
Woven, satin and printed neck labels, care tabs, hang tags, drawcord tips, zip pullers and polybag or box packing. Full private label cut and sew services mean nothing in the piece carries our name. Order woven labels with the garment or separately.
Fabric Weights, Sizes and Tolerances
Weights are published in both units, because a factory quoting in GSM and a buyer costing in ounces mean the same cloth. Conversion factor: 33.906.
| Build | Fabric and construction | GSM | oz/yd² |
|---|---|---|---|
| Tees, tanks, polos | Combed cotton, CVC, cotton-elastane jersey | 180–280 | 5.3–8.3 |
| Hoodies, crewnecks, joggers | French terry or 3-end brushed fleece | 320–450+ | 9.4–13.3 |
| Gym and activewear | Poly-spandex, nylon-spandex, four-way stretch | 220–300 | 6.5–8.8 |
| Sublimated kits | Polyester and micro-poly, printed before cutting | 140–220 | 4.1–6.5 |
| Shorts and wovens | Cotton jersey, fleece, twill or quick-dry poly | 180–450 | 5.3–13.3 |
- Sizes. YS–YXL youth and S–4XL adult, graded from your own size chart.
- Shrinkage. Knits are allowed up to 5% dimensional change under the Sanforized standard; cotton fleece at 280–360 GSM commonly moves 3–5% in length on a warm wash. Agree it before sampling.
- Measurement tolerance. Chest, length and sleeve each carry a stated allowance, or “close enough” is whatever the person holding the tape decides.

Start at 20 Pieces, Scale to Thousands on the Same Spec
Most factories will not open a line under 200 pieces. As a low MOQ cut and sew apparel factory we start at 20 per design and colourway, then run the same pattern in bulk unchanged.
| Stage | What happens | Quantity / time |
|---|---|---|
| Mockup | Spec reviewed, artwork placed, itemised costing returned | 24–48 hrs |
| Sample | One sewn piece for fit, hand-feel and decoration sign-off | 1 pc · 7–10 days |
| First run | One design and colourway, split across your size range | 20–40 pcs |
| Bulk 50–300 pcs | Production with inline and endline inspection | 14–18 working days |
| Bulk 500–1,000+ | Volume run; price breaks at 100 / 300 / 500 / 1,000+ | 20–25 working days |
| Dispatch | DHL, FedEx or UPS express, door to door | 4–6 business days |
| Payment | Samples 100% advance; bulk 50% deposit, balance before dispatch against QC photos and video | PayPal · Remitly · Western Union · wire |
Unit cost falls in steps, not smoothly: 20 pieces carries the full setup — pattern, screens, labels, marker — so the per-piece price is highest there and lowest above 1,000. Cost comes down through fewer SKUs, more units per design and simpler decoration, never thinner fabric.
How an Order Runs Through the Factory
The same five stages, whether it is 20 pieces or 2,000.
-
Enquiry and costing
Send a tech pack, reference garment or sketch with measurements. Back comes a mockup and costing split by fabric, decoration and trims.
-
Pattern and spec lock
Measurements, GSM, construction, tolerances, trims and placements confirmed in writing. Revisions here cost nothing; the same change after cutting costs a run.
-
One-piece sample
One sewn garment in your fabric, fit and decoration. Wash it, wear it, measure it. Nothing goes to bulk until you approve it.
-
Production
Spreading, cutting, printing or sublimation, stitching and embroidery, then labelling and packing, with inline and endline checks.
-
QC and dispatch
QC photos and video reach you before the balance falls due, then express dispatch with tracking and paperwork handled here.
Four Kinds of Buyer, One Production Line
The brief changes from one to the next. The line does not.
Independent designers
Custom apparel wholesale for designers who need a real pattern and a small first run — 20 pieces is enough to shoot, list and sell. See how to start a clothing brand with a manufacturer.
Sellers leaving print on demand
The graphics sell and the blank is the ceiling. Cut and sew print on demand is still on-demand clothing manufacturing — only now the body, weight and neck label are yours.
Wholesale and bulk buyers
Distributors and stockists ordering repeat volume against one written spec, with breaks at 100, 300, 500 and 1,000+ pieces.
Teams, gyms and clubs
Sublimated kits, training ranges and merch in one order, sized YS–YXL and S–4XL. See our streetwear range.
Cut and Sew Clothing Manufacturer FAQ
What is the minimum order for cut and sew clothing?
One piece for samples, 20 per design and colourway for production, split across YS–YXL youth or S–4XL adult sizes. Most factories ask for 200 to 1,000, so a low MOQ cut and sew apparel factory lets a new label launch without funding unsold stock.
What is the difference between cut and sew and print on demand?
Print on demand decorates a supplier’s blank, so you inherit its fit, weight and neck label at the highest per-unit cost of any model. Cut and sew builds the garment from your own pattern and fabric, and most brands switch once a design starts repeating.
Can you handle cut and sew print on demand or small on-demand runs?
Yes, within the 20-piece minimum. On-demand clothing manufacturing works best when you hold a locked pattern with us and reorder in short bursts as sizes sell through. Repeats run against the approved spec, so drop three matches drop one.
Do you offer private label cut and sew services?
Yes. Woven, satin and printed neck labels, care tabs, hang tags, drawcord tips, zip pullers and polybag or box packing are made in-house. Nothing carries our name, and your patterns and artwork stay yours.
What is edge-to-edge sublimation printing and which fabrics take it?
Panels are printed flat and cut afterwards, so the graphic runs seam to seam rather than stopping at a print area, and the dye bonds into the fibre. It needs polyester or micro-poly; cotton uses screen, DTF or DTG instead.
When do bulk price breaks apply?
At 100, 300, 500 and 1,000+ pieces. Setup spreads across more garments at each step, so moving from 80 to 100 often costs little more in total. A bulk cut and sew clothing manufacturer should itemise the quote so you can see what drives the price.
What fabric weights do you work with?
From 140 GSM sublimated kit fabric up to 450+ GSM heavyweight fleece — 4.1 to 13.3 oz/yd². Tees sit at 180–280 GSM, activewear at 220–300, hoodies and joggers at 320–450+. Ask for both units; one conversion error turns a heavyweight hoodie into a mid-weight one.
Do you ship to the USA, UK and Europe?
Yes. We manufacture in Sialkot, Pakistan and ship door to door to the USA, UK, Canada, Europe and Australia by DHL, FedEx or UPS in 4 to 6 business days. Air and sea freight are available where cost matters more than speed.
